Processing Grief Through Play

This program is designed to provide a compassionate space for children to engage in age and developmentally appropriate grief processing activities such as crafting, drawing, and sensory play. Barbara Eisenmenger, LICSW, a pediatric behavioral health consultant from Emplify Health's Department of Pediatrics, will be present to support caregivers with any questions they may have about helping their children navigate their understanding of death. Best for ages 4-10; younger children are welcome with the support of a caregiver.

Note: This program takes place on a staff development day. The library will be open only for this scheduled event.
