We're thrilled to share that Destination Handmade Junior has been selected as one of four ideas to pitch at La Crosse Soup at the Hatchery on Wednesday, September 17th!
Here's how it works:
- $5 at the door gets you soup + bread + a ballot
- Four local changemakers (including us!) pitch our ideas
- YOU get to vote for the project you want to see funded
- The project with the most votes walks away with the prize money to make it happen!
Why this matters:
Destination Handmade Junior is a on-of-a-kind youth vendor market where kids become entrepreneurs for the day They create, set up shop, and sell their own products - - building confidence, creativity and business skills while being celebrated by the community.
Winning these funds means we can grow this program, expand opportunities, and provide resources for even more young growing businesses.
