Our 1st annual back to school free bicycle block party is coming!
We are going to have fun, fun, and more fun on September 16th from 6pm to 8pm in the 200 block of W 7th Street in La Crosse! We have 18 spots open for vendors (business, individuals with arts and crafts, etc) for $20 donation each to set up during the event. All money goes to the Rush County Sheriff’s Office Community Outreach Program for future events. Each space is a ten by ten foot space. You will need to bring your own table, tent if wanted, etc. No electricity is available for the booths. Call in and Sign up with the Rush County Sheriff’s Office to get your booth space (Your booth donation can be made the day of the event). Set up will be at 5:30pm.
Law enforcement from at least seven different agencies from surrounding areas are coming together to have fun and take care of our community and give away 87 bicycles, and we have 58 bicycle helmets so far to be given. We will have music with a DJ set up (we want to see your dance moves), bubbles, sidewalk chalk (we want to see your artistic work), a bicycle safety course (we want you to be safe), free sno cones (we want to see your brain freeze face), free hamburgers and hotdogs (we don’t want you to be hungry and not have energy for everything), and everyone is welcome from everywhere to participate in everything. But when the bikes, helmets, and food are gone, they are gone! So we hope to see everyone there!
