You WILL get your feet wet, so prepare accordingly. Multiple river crossings, some with no means of staying dry.

Meet up Location: before the footbridge leading to trailhead
Parking: Adventure Pass Required-parking fills up fast so plan on arriving early or expect to add some miles to your hike.
All hikers welcomed, leashed pets under your own discretion, children welcomed under your own discretion. Feel free to bring anyone that is not a part of the group as long as they abide by our culture.
Mandatory Items to bring: friendly attitude, WATER (please bring the proper amount to adequately hydrate more than 16oz or you will not be able to hike with us), any supplies to aid in your health (inhaler, injection pen in case of allergies), and good supportive shoes or boots.
SUGGESTED items to bring:
Hat, sunglasses, sunblock, bug spray, first aid kit, sting ointment, hand sanitizer, travel TP, hiking poles, snacks, other experienced hiking friends and family.
LIABILITY WAIVERS AND DISCLAIMERS:
We only organize events and do not claim that any of the organizers, assistant organizers, event hosts, and/or volunteers are trained professional guides. We are volunteers, thus we're only inviting you to join us as friends with hiking friends. Outdoor sports can be inherently dangerous, and from time to time accidents may occur. By Joining in any posted events, you agree that you are aware of the risks, hazards and dangers associated with any activity and that you are taking full responsibility for your own safety and well-being.
All participants must take full responsibility for their own actions, and adhere to the rules and regulations of any governmental agencies that exist, written or otherwise.
By participating in this event, you are releasing High Five Hikers SoCal and any of its organizers from any claims and liabilities.
Inclement Weather: it is your responsibility to determine whether the weather is suitable enough for you to cause no health concerns and must be prepared.
Photo/video Release: By joining you release liability for any video/photos taken that you may be in. Used only to share the hiking experience and not to be used for anything harmful or disrespectful.
If you do not agree with the above, or are unsure of your ability to complete the event safely, please do not attend or get clarification from group leader or admin.
