What to grow and working with the climate; Scale of production;
By popular demand, Isle of Lewis crofter and market gardener, John Hamilton of 44 Ranish, will be getting into the nitty gritty of successfully growing vegetables and fruit on your croft. No stranger to gardening in tough conditions, John has practical advice on planning, planting, soil, compost, harvesting, selling, growing all year round, and scaling up production.
An inspiring programme full of constructive tips for all crofters, whether growing just for your own consumption or wishing to upscale for local sale, box schemes, etc.
