This event is hosted by Loveaid Foundation, a Korean organization I personally work with to support children in Kenya, Rwanda, and children with disabilities.
Now, we’re spreading that same warmth here in Korea too.
 What We’ll Do
We’ll deliver yeontan — traditional Korean coal briquettes used for heating — to low-income families in Gwacheon Honeybee Village, a small hillside community near Seoul.
It’s not only a way to help others, but also a rare cultural experience.
This village is unfamiliar even to many young Koreans, making it a special chance to see a piece of Korea’s living history.
This year, we’re especially welcoming foreign volunteers — it’s our first time focusing an event on the international community in Korea!
