Welcome to the first annual GOAT 🐐 Loop championships, brought to you by Running Off-Piste.
We’ve all heard of the infamous GOAT loop in the parklands national park - Nambour. The Strava segment has captured runners all over the Sunny Coast. It’s time to see who is the fastest around the 13km trail loop. The GOAT loop is not to be taken lightly, with approximately 500m of elevation along the fire trail, your fitness WILL be tested.
This event will have a small donation charge of $20, to be paid in cash on the day to raise money for the local charity ‘Wishlist’.
This is an ‘unofficial event’ meaning it is not sanctioned and is purely a gathering of like minded runners catching up for a Sunday run in the bush. You are to run fully self sufficient and at your own risk. We all know trail running is dangerous, so be sure to take this into account when participating.
There are no toilets on site, so please manage this as you would any other trail run when joining friends. The run will kick off at 6:30am with registration to take place from 5:30am.
We encourage runners of all abilities to get amongst the 🐐 action. Walk, jog, hike it all counts. There will be prizes on offer with no discrimination to the time it took to complete the loop.
