邦咯海岛节，以艺术走入海岛社区，走过了第一个十年。迈向第二个十年之际，是时候放眼未来 —— 如何延续岛屿的生命力？如何在渔业与旅游之间找到生态的平衡？如何回应时代的挑战，守护这片我们深爱的土地与海洋？
邦咯岛是一座以渔业为主的岛屿，因独特的渔村文化、人文与自然风景，也是马来西亚著名的旅游目的地。岛屿的命运维系着渔民的日常、海洋与生态的平衡，也映照旅客的足迹与废弃物的流向，乃至文化保存与身心疗愈。唯有将这些面向整合思考，我们才能真正看见岛屿的未来。
因此，本届邦咯海岛节以“永续”作为核心关怀，与联合国永续发展目标（SDGs）接轨，从渔业文化、岛屿生态、艺术与疗愈、环保行动等多个面向出发，展开探索与对话：
- 邦咯岛的文化特色与渔业传统
- 来自其他岛屿的文化交流，如鼻笛、树皮工艺
- 海洋保育、环境再生与环保创意
- 艺术作为身心与自然之间的疗愈媒介
我们期待透过论坛、展览、表演、体验与工作坊、纪录片放映，连结人、土地与海洋，在岛屿的日常与生态之间，编织岛屿的永续未来。
作为岛屿社区艺术节，邦咯海岛节不仅是一场热闹的庆典，更希望成为一个长期的平台，提升公众对时事与生态议题的公共意识。我们期望透过艺术与对话，提供教育与启发的空间，唤起人们对社会与环境问题的关注，并鼓励集体参与与行动，共同迈向更具包容性与永续性的未来。

Theme: The Island & Us – Weaving a Sustainable Tomorrow
As Pangkor Island Festival enters its second decade, we look to the future: How do we sustain the life of the island? How do we balance fishing and tourism while protecting the ocean and culture we hold dear?
Pangkor is a fishing island known for its vibrant coastal heritage, natural beauty, and popularity as a tourist destination. Its future is deeply tied to the lives of its fisherfolk, the health of the marine ecosystem, and the cultural footprints left behind by visitors.
This year’s festival centers around “sustainability aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through cultural exchange, ecological awareness, and the healing power of art, we explore:
* Pangkor’s cultural and fishing heritage
* Island-to-island exchange
* Marine conservation, creative recycling, and environmental action
* Art as a bridge between the body, spirit, and nature
Through forums, exhibitions, performances, workshops, and films, we aim to reconnect people, land, and sea—together weaving a future where island life and ecology thrive.
As a community-based arts festival, Pangkor Island Festival is more than a celebration—it is a platform for dialogue, learning, and action, inviting all to reimagine a more inclusive and sustainable future.
