Czy sztuczna inteligencja potrafi przetrawić śmieci informacyjne, czy raczej je multiplikuje?
Czy wasted data to współczesna forma cyfrowych duchów?
Co się dzieje z danymi cyfrowymi, po naszej śmierci?
W niedzielny wieczór (26.10 | 19:00 – 20:30), 🟡Patchlab Festival 2025 zwieńczą dwa eksperymentalne performensy w Cricoteka, podejmujące temat tzw. wasted data, czyli niepotrzebnych, bezużytecznych danych, w tym tych także tych pozostawianych po śmierci oraz stworzonych przez AI halucynacji.
Irański artysta Ali Phi w swoim najnowszym performansie 🟡‘Decompositions for Computers’ podejmuje temat cyfrowych odpadów, także tych pozostawianych przez zmarłych.
Projekt wykorzystuje robotyczne ramię sterowane AI, które obserwuje projekcje i współpracuje z artystą, generując dźwięki i wpływając na parametry wizualne. Prezentowany będzie po raz pierwszy w Polsce, tuż po premierze w Miami.
Ursula Winterauer w duecie z Claudią Larcher w 🟡‘Hallucinations’ wzięły na kanwę zjawisko halucynacji sztucznej inteligencji, gdy algorytmy błędnie interpretują dane lub tworzą fikcję. Relikty mediów analogowych zostają ożywione jako archiwa wizualno-dźwiękowe i nadpisane przez AI, zyskując nowy kontekst.

Can artificial intelligence process information waste, or does it simply multiply it?
Is wasted data a contemporary form of digital ghosts?
And what happens to our digital traces after death?
On Sunday evening (26.10 | 19:00–20:30), 🟡Patchlab Festival will conclude with two experimental performances at Cricoteka addressing the theme of wasted data — unnecessary, redundant information, including that left behind after death, as well as AI-generated hallucinations.
In his latest performance 🟡'Decompositions for Computers', Iranian artist Ali Phi explores the hidden environmental cost of digital waste, including the traces left by the deceased. The project uses an AI-controlled robotic arm that observes projections and collaborates with the artist, generating sound and altering visual parameters. Presented for the first time in Poland, just after its premiere in Miami.
In 🟡'Hallucinations', Ursula Winterauer and Claudia Larcher take on the phenomenon of AI hallucinations, when algorithms misinterpret data or generate fiction. Relics of analog media are revived as audio-visual archives and overwritten by AI, placed into a new immersive context.
