Mateo działa na wielu polach: jest kolekcjonerem płyt, djem oraz artystą, którego prace możecie kojarzyć z okładek płyt Los Pirañas, Meridian Brothers czy Romperayo. Oprócz okładek płyt czy plakatów maluje również murale. Zainspirowany kulturową mieszanką karaibów, afryki oraz południowej ameryki a także punkiem, reggae i metalem tworzy sztukę, która wykracza daleko poza lokalny kontekst. Cumbia Warszawa and Laboratorio Tropical Crew, strengthened by a special guest from across the ocean, are coming to Piękny Pies for the first time — and for a very special occasion: Día de los Muertos, the Mexican version of the Day of the Dead.
All witches, spirits, and ghosts are warmly welcome!

This night at Perro Bonito, we’ll dance to ultra-groovy music inspired by the sounds and rhythms of Latin American cultures, including:
• reggaetón • baile funk • neoperreo • guaracha • latintek • latinecore and of course • CUMBIA – which will have its own dedicated room!
There, the one and only Jefé de Jefés – BarbaRoja will present his vinyl collection.
BarbaRoja hails from Bogotá and can truly be called a legend. His work is a vital part of the Colombian audiovisual scene. Mateo is a record collector, DJ, and visual artist whose artwork you might recognize from the album covers of Los Pirañas, Meridian Brothers, or Romperayo.
In addition to record sleeves and posters, he also paints murals. Inspired by the cultural mix of the Caribbean, Africa, and South America — as well as punk, reggae, and metal — he creates art that transcends local boundaries.
He’s flying to Warsaw to perform a 100% vinyl DJ set, and judging by glimpses of his collection, we can expect something truly spectacular.

Esta noche en Perro Bonito, se bailará música ultra bailable de las culturas de América Latina, entre ellas:

En ella, el auténtico Jefé de Jefés – BarbaRoja presentará su colección de vinilos.
BarbaRoja viene de Bogotá y sin exagerar se le puede llamar una leyenda. Su trabajo es una parte fundamental de la escena audiovisual local. Mateo es coleccionista de discos, DJ y artista visual, conocido por sus portadas de álbumes para Los Pirañas, Meridian Brothers o Romperayo.
Además de diseñar portadas y carteles, también pinta murales. Inspirado por la mezcla cultural del Caribe, África y Sudamérica, así como por el punk, el reggae y el metal, crea un arte que va mucho más allá del contexto local.
Vuela a Varsovia para ofrecer un set de DJ 100% en vinilo, y por lo que hemos visto de su colección, ¡promete ser algo realmente increíble!
