Of Shrines & Scrolls: A Kalighat Patuapara Photowalk

This is a street photography-focused experience crafted for aspiring, amateur, and experienced photographers. Step into the lanes of Kalighat’s Patuapara, home to the iconic Kalighat patachitra painting tradition, and capture the daily lives of artists and their vivid creations. From temple rituals to paint-streaked walls and quiet creative moments, every corner has a story waiting to be framed. The walk ends with a 30–45 minute discussion and creative exchange session over tea at the old-school Cafe (Hazra). It’s a chance to connect, reflect, and see familiar scenes through fresh eyes.
