Join us for a workshop all about Special effects makeup. We're getting messy, so bring some clothes that can handle it.

To cover the cost of materials for the workshop there is a small material fee of 𖤐 50 kr. to join 𖤐, so please sign up so we know how many to prepare for.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

SFX expert Henrik teaches us practical techniques such as creating fake wounds and scars with latex, making bruises and burns with paint and makeup, or designing quick prosthetics from everyday materials. He can also demonstrate simple effects like small blood pumps, aging makeup, or skin texture tricks. Depending on what people want to learn, we’ll adapt the focus, ranging from fun Halloween gore to simple DIY film effects.


ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

For the past 30 years, Henrik Andersen has run the special effects company AMOS-FX, which has created makeup for films, theater, and Halloween events, among other things.

Henrik is also a screenwriter and film director, and his style is splatter and a good dose of black humor.

It is important to have a sense of humor and a playful approach to what you are passionate about. That is where creativity spreads and can inspire others.

GENERAL INFO ABOUT the HOUSE OF FILTH WORKSHOP SERIES

We will be exploring different skills every week and help each other develop our alter egos for the 31st of October 𖤐 Our very first filthy drag show.

You can join the show as a performer, help out with things backstage, or just show up as a fan and support the community. Until then, come by on Thursday and have some filthy fun.
