Hands-On Event: Bears in the Aleutian Islands

What can we learn from bear bones found in archaeological sites? Join visiting Museum of the Aleutians staff to explore 3-D printed bear bones from Unalaska Island - a place where no bears live today. Learn how ancestral Unangax̂ interacted with bears, and what their presence tells us about the Aleutians thousands of years ago. Free and open to all ages, particularly preschool and homeschool families. Children must be accompanied by an adult.​
