February Full Moon Walk

Join Ranger Clare for a walk under the light of the February Snow Moon. When the sun goes down and night falls upon the park the trails can be spooky to some people, but there's nothing to fear. Join Ranger Clare for a guided night hike through the park to learn about what wildlife are using the park during winter and are active at night. Some of the possible wildlife that we may see or hear include owls, bats, coyotes, racoons, possums, and deer. There's no guarantee that we'll see or hear an owl, but it'll be fun to explore the trails and see what's active. If it is a clear night the stargazing will be phenomenal. Please note that the park is normally closed after sunset, so only registered program participants with a ranger will be allowed in the park at night. Anyone else seen in the park after park hours will be considered trespassing. Participants should meet Ranger Clare at the Bluebird Barn near the main entrance to the park on Kelly Lane at 6:00pm.

Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight/headlamp, water, appropriate clothing, and good walking shoes.
Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals.
