Get your scuba diving certification with the Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular scuba course. To enroll in the Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
The Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
Knowledge Development- to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives - to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives - to use your skills and explore!

This is a 4 day course
Day 1- Knowledge Development - Theory- Practical application
Day 2 - Confined water - Watermen skills
Day 3 - Open water dives - 2 open water dives & 1 snorkel
Day 4 - Open water dives - 2 open water dives & 1 snorkel
We will complete Day one in our classroom at the dive shop. Day 2 we will meet at one of our local pools for the confined water. Days 3 & 4 will be the checkout dives done at Philadelphia Quarry.
September 6th 9:00am - 6:00 pm Classroom - Alpha Diver
September 7th 8:00am - 2:00 pm Pool Session - Clinton Community Center
September 20th - 21st Checkout Dives - Philadelphia Quarry
