Knox Dems' Annual Truman Day Dinner and Fundraiser

The Knox County Democratic Party is honored to announce former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear as the keynote speaker for our annual Truman Day Fundraiser.

The Truman Day dinner is the Knox Dems' largest fundraiser of the year. Money from reservation sales directly fund our efforts to knock doors, make phone calls and send texts to flip seats blue in 2026. We have a real chance to make some headway in Tennessee in the midterms, but not without your help.

Beshear, who is the father of Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, transformed public education, expanded healthcare access and beat back a recession in our neighboring state by creating jobs and opportunity for his people. Steve Beshear is a Harvard fellow and author of "People over Politics." We welcome his insight on making government work for the people.
