Cattywampus Parade & Block Party: Our Joy is Powerful

Cattywampus is excited to bring our annual people-powered Parade & Block Party to Suttree Landing Park this year! On Sunday, May 18th, led by our very own Knox Honkers & Bangers, we'll be filling South Knoxville with art, dancing, joy, and revelry, and we want you to join us. This year’s theme is “Our Joy is Powerful” and the parade is free and open to all. We invite you to let delight, play, and celebration inspire you as you create your giant puppets, masks, costumes, and other handmade & people-powered creations and then join us in conjuring our collective joy as community and parading together as one.


*Parade Line Up: 2pm at Suttree Landing Park Pavilion

*Parade Kick Off: 3pm

*Route: We’ll process along the River Walk Greenway and then up Waterfront Dr concluding on the Festival Lawn!


BLOCK PARTY: Our Parade will transition into a Block Party on the Suttree Landing Festival Lawn from 3:30-6pm, featuring a stage with performances by the Good Guy Collective, Rica Chicha and other local artists, activity providers, food and much more.
