Join us for a cozy autumn evening by the lake! We’ll kick things off around 4:30 PM, just in time to enjoy the golden-hour glow. As the sun sets over Bass Lake, the fire will be crackling, marshmallows will be toasting, and laughter will be echoing across the beach.
S’mores Fundraiser
The Starke County Parks Department will have ready-to-go s’mores bags available for purchase as a fundraiser! Each bag will cost $3 and includes enough to make two s'mores:
1 chocolate bar
2 graham crackers
2 marshmallows
Fire-safe skewers will also be available for $1 each as part of the fundraiser.
What to Bring (optional):
A camp chair or blanket
A hoodie or jacket for that crisp fall air
Water or your favorite fall beverage
Notes:
Fires are allowed in designated fire rings only—we’ll have it all set up.
Kids, friends, and families are welcome.
Let’s send off the weekend with sticky fingers, warm smiles, and the smell of toasted marshmallow in the air—while supporting our local parks!
