REKOMENDUOJAMA ypatingos muzikos ir meilės laiškų gerbėjams
Programos pavadinimas – tai nuoroda į meilės laiško formatą. Čia kūrėjos atiduoda duoklę svarbiausiems savo muzikiniams įkvėpėj(a/o)ms – Johnui Cage’ui, Meredith Monk, Nilsui Frahmui, Haniai Rani, Maurice’ui Raveliui, Angelo Badalamenti, Suzanne Ciani, Ryuichi Sakomoto, Chilly Gonzalesui, Nicolui Jaarui. Programa tampa jų patirčių ir įkvėpimo žemėlapiu, kuriame naujai suskamba perkurti gerai pažįstami, mylimi ir jų muzikinę tapatybę formuojantys kūriniai.
Bendras kompozitorės Agnės Matulevičiūtės ir pianistės Martos Finkelštein duetas veikia nuo 2021 m., kuomet bendrystę rado derindamos fortepijono bei analoginių/modulinių sintezatorių sąskambius. Agnės kūrybinių interesų laukas aprėpia teatrą, performansą, kiną bei tarpsritinius projektus, o tuo pačiu ji yra aktyviai veikianti atlikėja Agnès M slapyvardžiu. Tuo tarpu Marta yra sukaupusi ilgametę patirtį šiuolaikinės muzikos atlikime bei muzikos kuravime. Skirtingi abiejų kūrėjų profiliai bei patirtys, jungiami muzikinių idėjų bendrystės, prasmingai vienas kitą papildo. Analogų savo sudėtimi Lietuvoje neturintis duetas atskleidžia įvairialypes nūdienos raiškos galimybes, kuomet derinama akustiniai ir elektroninės muzikos elementai, o dėmesys sukaupiamas į klavišinių instrumentų raišką.

Piano and synthesizer duo „Dear, dear“/ Agnė Matulevičiūtė & Marta Finkelštein (Lithuania)
RECOMMENDED for lovers of exclusive music and love letters format
The name of the app is a reference to the love letter format. Here, the creators pay tribute to their most important musical inspirations – John Cage, Meredith Monk, Nils Frahm, Hania Rani, Maurice Ravel, Angelo Badalamenti, Suzanne Ciani, Ryuichi Sakomoto, Chilly Gonzales, Nicol Jaar. The program becomes a map of their experiences and inspirations, where well-known, beloved works that shape their musical identity sound new. At the same time, it is also a love letter to each other – an accomplice in the creative act.
At the festival "Plartforma" the creators will perform in the Concert Hall of the Klaipėda Faculty of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and will interpret the contexts of the overlapping historical layers through sound.
The joint duet of composer Agnė Matulevičiūtė and pianist Marta Finkelštein has been operating since 2021, when they found common ground by combining the harmonies of the piano and analog/modular synthesizers. Agnė‘s creative interests include performance, theater, cinema and interdisciplinary projects, and at the same time she is an active performer under the pseudonym Agnès M. Meanwhile, Marta has accumulated many years of experience in performing contemporary music and composing music. The different profiles and experiences of both creators, united by a commonality of musical ideas, meaningfully complement each other. The duo, which has no analogues in its composition in Lithuania, reveals the diverse possibilities of today's expression, combining elements of acoustic and electronic music, and focusing on the expression of keyboard instruments.
