Learn the classic swing line dance "The Shim Sham" on 2/8!

The Shim Sham is the line dance that all swing dancers should know. Originally a tap dance, the routine was adapted by Frankie Manning to be easily danced by Lindy Hoppers.
Stay for an open practice session afterwards where you can practice partner dancing or solo jazz, ask questions, or just hang out and listen to the music.
Workshop is appropriate for total beginners. No previous dance knowledge needed.
Variations will be provided for dancers who want to spice up the basic choreography.
9:30 am Check-in opens and practice time available
10 - 11 am Shim Sham workshop
11 am - 12:30 pm Open practice time
Pre-registration requested for the workshop.
You may drop-in for just the practice session for $5 at the door.
Class also available on Zoom.
All those registered for the workshop will receive a link to the full class replay and a short recap the next day.
