Join us for the 2026 Blue Ocean Symposium on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 9:30 am to 4 pm at the Star Theatre in Kittery, Maine.
This annual event brings together scientists, educators, students, and ocean enthusiasts for a full day of engaging presentations focused on marine science in the Gulf of Maine. Topics include climate change, whales and dolphins, microplastics, marine debris solutions, invasive species, ghost gear removal, and innovative approaches to ocean science education.
All are welcome, from professionals in the field to anyone simply curious about our changing ocean. We encourage in-person attendance, with a virtual option available for those unable to attend in person.
In-person registration is $50 and includes a light breakfast, coffee, lunch, and networking opportunities. Virtual registration is $30. Scholarships are available because cost should not be a barrier to participation.
