Scottish Smallholder Festival

Join us as we celebrate our third Festival at the home of Agriculture in Scotland – The Royal Highland Centre.

The 14th Festival will be held on Saturday 18th October 2025 at the Royal Highland Centre, EH28 8NB. Doors will open at 9am, and you are invited to join us for our annual celebration of the Scottish Smallholder, featuring:

• Livestock competition for sheep, goats, and pigs

• Show and parade of native breed equines, alpacas, and other equines and camelids

• Seminar and demonstration programme, over five different venues across the site

• The Cookery Theatre will host a range of cooking demonstrations and a unique taste test

• The SRUC Theatre will give you lots of practical relevant information, including hands-on sessions and talks

• Trade and small business exhibition, Craft Fair and Smallholder Market

• Rural Skills competition

• Rural skills demonstrations and craft mini-workshops
