A Real Pain

A Real Pain (Cert 15) is about two mismatched cousins, one neurotic, the other free-spirited, who embark on a tour of Poland in honour of their beloved Jewish grandmother but old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their difficult family history. This comedy drama combines humour and warmth with a nuanced and sometimes painful exploration of family history, love and loss.

This hilarious and heart-breaking masterpiece stars Kieran Culkin who rose to fame as a child actor in the Home Alone series. His performance has been described as “A force of nature.”
