Every behavior has a reason.
Every reaction is information.
This one-day demonstration is an honest, unscripted look at how real behavioral change begins, without dominance, intimidation, or force.
Jess will work live with two horses she has not previously met, each navigating a specific behavioral challenge. There will be no rehearsed outcomes and no pressure for performance. Instead, you will witness the beginning stages of understanding, regulation, and resolution.
In the Harmonized Horsemanship program, behavior is never viewed as defiance. It is communication. Most “issues” are symptoms of nervous system dysregulation, confusion, fear, or unmet needs. When we shift from correction to curiosity, everything changes.
Throughout the day, Jess will explore the root of each behavior and begin building a foundation for clarity and safety. The focus is not on quick fixes. It is on creating conditions where the horse no longer needs the behavior.
You will learn:
• How to get curious instead of corrective when a horse escalates
• Why most behavioral problems are symptoms, not the core issue
• How to regulate yourself so your horse can regulate too
• Why slowing down creates faster, more lasting results
• How to support a horse through stress without overpowering them
You will see the first steps of change in real time. Small shifts. Softer eyes. A different breath. A different choice.
This event is for anyone navigating behavioral challenges, or anyone who wants to better understand the why behind the behavior.
Change does not come from making the horse submit.
It comes from helping them feel safe enough to choose something different.
We will need two horses to "volunteer" for this clinic! If you think your horse may be a good fit, reach out to Jess at
