Foresters and other natural resource professionals who write forest management plans for woodland owners are invited to attend this one-day workshop on Writing Comprehensive Forest Management Plans. Attendees will learn about different types of plans (management plans, practice plans, burn plans, cost-share plans, etc.) and the specific requirements of Present Use Valuation, Forest Stewardship Program and American Tree Farm System plans. Training will include a comparison of program requirements and review of management plans to determine eligibility for program participation. Upon completion of the class, attendees will be equipped to write qualifying management plans for PUV, Stewardship and Tree Farm.
Pre-registration is required. Estimated 4.5 CFE credits.
