I’m excited to share an incredible opportunity for youth right here in Kinston! From August 19th through the 25th, our Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting a dynamic Basketball Skills Camp for boys and girls ages 7–12. Whether you’re just learning the game or looking to sharpen your skills, this camp is designed to uplift, inspire, and develop our next generation of athletes.
We’re bringing in a talented team, including an AAU coach, a professional basketball trainer, and a coach with a heart for teaching. Special guest speakers from the world of basketball will also be stopping by to motivate and encourage our young players throughout the week.
This camp is more than just basketball it’s about confidence, discipline, teamwork, and opportunity. We’ve worked to make it as affordable as possible so every child in our community has the chance to participate and grow.
