Winter Pruning, with Matt Jevnikar & Guest

Winter is the perfect time to prune and shape deciduous trees, shrubs, and vines. Join Head Gardener Matt Jevnikar as he demonstrates winter pruning techniques here at Heronswood, with hands-on opportunities for attendees. Matt will be joined by a mystery guest who will bring their own vision of pruning aesthetics in the dormant season. Participants are encouraged to bring their own pruners and hand saws.

All in-person classes are limited to 25 attendees. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
