Join us for a deep and tender community ceremony, where we come together to honour grief in all its forms. Led by Ceremony woman, Storyteller, Rites of Passage Guide, and Firekeeper Teula Wylde with apprentice Dean Brady, in collaboration with West Winds Community Centre.
Grief comes in many pathways—loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, identity, belonging, ancestral or environmental grief, or grief unnamed but felt in the body. Whatever grief you carry, here you will be welcomed, honoured, and held in sacred space.
This outdoor ceremony is not therapy, but a communal rite of belonging—a safe space to witness and be witnessed, to express and release, to sit in solitude, and to share in the circle. Together, we build our capacity to carry both grief and joy, finding strength and vitality in connection.

A sacred community grieving ceremony for ages 16+, honouring grief in its many forms. Held in ceremony, story, and shared village space with warmth, connection, and renewal. “Grieving is supposed to be communal. As we gather, we belong in the common thread of sorrow, knowing we are held in our falls and we are there to hold others in theirs.”
