About the event

DSMB Practice and Fun Dive
The subject of this free event is to learn and practice how to properly use a Delayed Surface Marker Buoy - we are still going to have a fun dive too 🙂

Safety is of utmost priority when it comes to diving. One of the safety accessories you should always carry is a surface marker buoy (SMB). Some might ask themselves, what is an (D)SMB and how do I use it? Although you likely learned the basics during your Open Water course, many of you may have never — or only rarely — used it since.

Certification: PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent. All Welcome!

Time: Meet with instructor Nat for a 2pm briefing!

Location: Blackmans Bay - South (We will decide on the day if we dive on the South or North end - weather depending).

Scuba Gear: BYO or come and see us in store - DISCOUNTED EQUIPMENT HIRE available for that event.

Don't have your own DSMB and reel yet?
Grab one at a special event discount — available in our stores!

Please RSVP on our website!
