CHIP IN FOR CHIP BIKE RUN & BENEFIT– PLEASE READ & SHARE!
On Memorial Day, a terrifying accident changed everything for Chip Voitek. While out riding his motorcycle, he was stung by what we believe was a bee. Being severely allergic, he lost consciousness, crossed two lanes of traffic, and crashed into a wall.
Thanks to the quick action of a Good Samaritan and his smart watch, 911 was called immediately, and he was rushed to the trauma bay at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
After a 5-hour emergency surgery to reconstruct his leg, he spent 6 long weeks in the hospital, followed by a week in rehab, and is now continuing intensive rehabilitation at home.
He won’t be able to put any weight on his leg for at least 6 months, meaning he’s unable to work, and recovery will be a long, difficult road ahead.

This event will be held on Saturday September 13, 2025 at the Kingston VFW located at 708 East Chester Street, Kingston
