Julian Gaskell and The Ragged Trousered Philanthropist

Julian Gaskell and His Ragged Trousered Philanthropists are a Cornwall based duo that embrace a riotous, folk- punk, theatrical plethora of musical styles and heady mix of originals, broadsides, ballads and choice modern covers.

They cover as much ground as possible, inspired by django-esque guitar tunes, Klezmer, Irish folk, calypso, howling Americana, European agricultural 18th century pop music and anything and everything in between. Expect legendary dry comedic banter weaving together the threads of a musical journey around the world.
