You're invited to a very special event at Artlink @ 87 Gallery on Friday 19 September!
Join us between 2pm to 8pm for our End of Summer Social & Fundraiser, a fantastic afternoon of creative activities and cake followed by an evening of live performances, Q&As and music.
You're welcome to join us for the whole event or simply drop in for the parts that interest you most. Here's what we have planned for the day:
2pm - 4pm: Creative Activities, a tasty bake sale and an arts & crafts lucky dip. Get hands-on with our creative activities, supported by our wonderful HEY Volunteers, a tasty bake sale from our Chair of the Board, Janet.
4pm: A bespoke tour of the current exhibition & opportunity to ask about artworks that are on sale.
4pm – 6pm: Pull Your Own Print. A unique workshop where you can create your own screen print with the help of MiscPrintCo.
5pm: Artist Q&A in the Studio hosted by our Creative Director Lindsey.
6pm - 8pm: A showcase of performances by guest artists, with more to be announced....
This event is not just a celebration—it's also a fundraiser to help secure our future. For nearly 40+ years, Artlink has been a home for artists and a creative hub for our community. Through our workshops, commissions, and learning programmes, we've brought countless opportunities to people across Hull.
We have successfully secured funding from Arts Council England Project Grants, National Lottery Community Fund, Hull City Council, Children in Need, Garfield Weston Foundation and Hull Culture & Leisure. This is an impressive list and a seal of approval from funders, but we still need to extend this to ensure we can continue to deliver for HU5 and beyond.
