Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Do I need proficiency in another language to become an ESL tutor?
A: No, proficiency in English is the sole requirement for ESL tutors, as our students are seeking assistance in learning English.
Q: What are the tutoring schedules like?
A: Volunteers have the flexibility to tutor during the day or evening, either remotely via Google Meet or in-person. Sessions are 1.5 hours long and can be conducted once or twice a week.
Q: How does the ESL tutoring program operate?

Tutors will employ a life-skills oriented ESL curriculum, offering structured lessons that integrate reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Interactive real-life activities are incorporated into each session. There is no lesson planning required and all necessary materials will be provided.
