As part of the Visiting Cousins, Family Kin, and Cousin for a Day camp programs, children have the chance to roll up their sleeves and experience 19th-century life first-hand!
Each day starts early with activities such as baking, laundry, foraging, or gardening with our Education Team. Then, campers will have the chance to enter the site to work alongside local tradesmen, artisans, and entertainers and attend our one-room schoolhouse for a unique experience. Campers get to dress in period costume throughout the day to get in on as many activities as possible in the village and have a full experience!
As the sun sets, the entertainment continues on with games, songs and drama.
Visiting Cousins and Family Kin make lasting friendships at Kings Landing, and have so much fun experiencing 19th century history first-hand that they don’t even realize that they are learning too.

Les journées des Cousins germains (9-12 ans) ou Parenté (13-15 ans) commencent tôt par des activités structurées, avant d’aller au village pour travailler avec les ouvriers, artisans et amuseurs locaux. Au coucher du soleil, les divertissements se poursuivent dans des jeux, des chansons et du théâtre. Ils ont tellement de plaisir à vivre l’histoire, qu’ils ne se rendent pas compte qu’ils apprennent!
