Winter Tales and Tunes of the North End

Celebrate Yuletide this year by listening to old tales and songs of the North End in the setting of the streets and old fisherfolk cottages at True's Yard Fisherfolk Museum.

The afternoon will include a short tour around the North End, exploring the last traces of the fisherfolk community and hearing about events of winters past, including a sprinkling of traditional sea songs along the way. The tour will include a visit to the museum to explore the last two fisherfolk cottages in King's Lynn, built in the 1790's, and a chance to visit our latest exhibition, 'Christmas Decorations Through the Ages'.

Guests can then enjoy the historic atmosphere of our beautiful candlelit Georgian panelled tea rooms, where a variety of refreshments will be provided including mulled wine and Christmas pies.

All proceeds will go to the museum.

Tickets are £8. Prebooking advised. Meet at True's Yard Fisherfolk Museum at 1.45pm.
