Bushfire Safety Community Meeting - Smiths Road, Toolangi

With the Fire Danger period starting again, it's important for all community members to be thinking about bushfire, preparing your property and planning ahead. We are a fire safety community meetings in Castella over to run through some Bushfire Safety Essentials.

The meeting will be at 10:30am, Saturday 29th November on Smiths Road Toolangi.

There will be signs up to the meeting location on the day, it will be close to the Yea River Bridge. As the meeting is road side, please bring your own chair.

The meeting will go for about 60 minutes.

The session will cover:
- Local fire risk
- What to expect from fire
- Preparing for fire
- Fire Danger Ratings
- How to stay informed
- Seasonal Update


Sessions are free to attend and open to all ages. We encourage you to attend even if you attended a similar meeting in recent years to keep your learnings on bushfire safety current.
