King Christmas Parade 2025

The King Christmas Parade, proudly hosted by the King Masonic Lodge #722, is a central highlight of the holiday season in King, North Carolina. This annual event brings the community together with festive floats, marching bands, and the official arrival of Santa Claus.

The 2025 parade will follow the theme: “A NASCAR Christmas”.

Time: 1:00 PM (Parade steps off)

End Time (Estimated): 3:30 PM

📍 Parade Day Logistics & Route

While the full street route is subject to change, the staging and timing details are critical for planning:

• Road Closures: Public roads used for the parade route will be closed by the King Police Department starting at 12:30 PM. Absolutely no thru traffic will be permitted along the route during the closure.
• Line-Up Location: Parade floats and units line up at King Elementary School (152 E School St, King, NC 27021).
• Line-Up Time: Staging begins at 9:00 AM. All participants should arrive no later than 12:15 PM.

🎁 Participation Information (For Floats and Units)

Groups, businesses, and individuals are encouraged to participate.

• Registration Requirement: Any person, business, or group entering a vehicle, float, or walking unit must register.
• How to Register: Participants must review the parade rules, fill out and submit the Registration form, and email a copy of the Release Form.
• Registration Fee: The entry fee is a voluntary charitable donation of your choosing, with all proceeds benefiting King Outreach Ministries.
• Safety Rule: Candy is permitted, but it must be handed out to spectators along the route. Throwing candy or other items from floats is prohibited to prevent injuries.
• Santa Rule: For the benefit of the children, the King Masonic Lodge provides the official Santa Claus. No other participants are allowed to wear full Santa Claus attire.
• Vehicle Rule: Drivers must be at least 18 years old with a valid license. Vehicles in the line-up are requested to be turned off to reduce fumes.
