The South Dakota GOP hosts the 2025 'Keeping Our Sights Right' Pheasant Hunt, proudly Title Sponsored by Senate Majority Leader John Thune.

Join us at Horseshoe K Ranch, Kimball, South Dakota — a fourth-generation, family-owned property spanning approximately 13,000 acres in the heart of the "Pheasant Capital of the World"
With over three decades of experience, the ranch delivers world‑class upland bird hunting, knowledgeable guides, expert dogs, exceptional home‑cooked meals, and clean, comfortable lodges.

Schedule: Thursday, September 11 — Evening Arrival & Welcome
Arrive and check in at your lodge.

Friday, September 12 — Guided Hunt & Evening Banquet
Start your day at around with a hearty, home-cooked breakfast in the main lodge—legendary among returning guests

After breakfast, your guide and a trained dog pick you up to begin hunting across diverse fields, including corn, milo, shelter belts, and food plots. Hunts incorporate walkers, wingmen, and blockers for varied shooting scenarios

Return to the lodge for afternoon snacks and downtime to unwind and enjoy the tranquil ranch grounds

Evening: Banquet (more details to come) with social hour & silent auction; bringing together hunters and civic engagement opportunities.

Saturday, September 13 — Final Hunt & Departure
Enjoy another guided session in the morning, wrapping up by noon.
