We’re excited to launch our free 6-week Employability Programme this September, designed to support people in North Ayrshire who are ready to take the next step toward employment, training, or volunteering.
Running every Tuesday and Wednesday from the 2nd of September to the 8th of October, the programme offers friendly, personalised guidance to help you build confidence, create a strong CV, prepare for interviews, and learn how to use AI tools in your job search. Alongside this, you will also be able to engage in voluntary work placements, online training, and accreditations; all for free!
Open to anyone aged 15 and a half or older who is currently unemployed, this programme is ideal for school leavers, unemployed parents, and unemployed individuals living with long-term health conditions or disabilities. Participants will also have the chance to complete an accredited First Aid course on Tuesday 16th September and a REHIS Food Hygiene qualification on Tuesday 30th September.
All sessions take place from 10am to 2pm, and a free lunch is provided each day. We also offer childcare support if needed and can reimburse your travel expenses, making it as accessible as possible for everyone. To help ease you in, we’re hosting an introduction session on Monday 25th August — a great chance to meet the team, ask questions, and find out more before the course begins.
