The Kilmore Fruit and Veggie Swap is held on the 2nd Sunday of every month between 10.30 to 11.30am at Hudson Park in Kilmore.
Don’t bring money!! Swappers place their contributions on a common table then browse and enjoy a chat with other locals while taking a share of something they could use.
Anyone with produce to swap is welcome to join us. Items to swap usually include:
• Home grown fruit, veggies and eggs
• Homemade preserves (relishes, jams, lemon butter, tomato sauce etc).
• Seeds, seedlings, cuttings and plants from your garden.
• Gardening nutrients: coffee grounds, shredded paper, lawn clippings, homemade mulch, animal manure, homemade garden ‘boost juice’ such as worm castings.
• Recycled items (hessian sacks, jam jars etc)
• Baked items (cakes, bread, slice etc)
• Copies of your of favourite recipes or cook books.
• Gardening mags and books.
And anything else you may think of.
