🇵🇱
Cała trasa liczy około 16 km i powinna zająć 6–7 godzin doświadczonemu wędrowcowi.
Miejsce spotkania
Spotykamy się przy Head of the Gap of Dunloe o godzinie 10:00:

W razie zmiany kierunku istnieje możliwość zaparkowania przy Kate Kearney’s Cottage i rozpoczęcia trasy od Tommies Peak, kończąc w Head of the Gap of Dunloe, a następnie powrotu tą samą trasą do Kate Kearney’s Cottage:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/e5Ecp1f4yHFHXQMv6
Plan trasy (start z Head of Dunloe)
Wspinaczka do jeziora Glas Lough (472 m) z krótką przerwą na odpoczynek.
Kontynuacja na szczyt Purple Mountain (832 m).
Następnie zdobycie trzech pobliskich szczytów:
Purple Mountain NE Top – 757 m
Shehy Mountain – 762 m
Tomies Mountain – 735 m

Wariant rozszerzony
Jeśli pozostaną nam siły, proponujemy dodatkową trasę przez:
Strickeen, Cnoc an Bhraca, Cnoc na dTarbh, Drishana, a następnie zejście do miejsca postoju.
Koniecznie zabierzcie wygodne buty, czołówki, ubrania przeciwdeszczowe, wodę i coś ciepłego do termosu.

For many travelers, the Gap of Dunloe and the surrounding peaks are not only a challenge, but also an unforgettable experience and one of the best adventures in Killarney on a one-day trip. Purple Mountain, rising to 826 m, is the second highest peak in Killarney National Park.
From the summit, there are magnificent panoramic views of Lough Leane, the Gap of Dunloe, and the rolling hills of Kerry. The mountain takes its name from the purple-tinted sandstone that glows beautifully in the sunlight.
The entire route is approximately 16 km long and should take 6–7 hours for an experienced hiker.
