Nags Head Woods Preserve Hike (5-6 miles) & Lunch

Join us on Saturday, September 6th at 10:00 AM for an adventure at Nags Head Woods Preserve! We’ll be hiking the Sweetgum Swamp and Blueberry Ridge Trails, combining them for about 5–6 miles through shaded maritime forest, freshwater ponds, and scenic dune ridges. Expect a moderate-to-challenging trek with some climbs, stairs, and sandy paths — but also plenty of rewarding views and peaceful moments in nature.

📍 Meeting Point: Nags Head Woods Preserve parking lot, 701 W. Ocean Acres Dr., K*ll Devil Hills, NC.

🥾 Bring water, good hiking shoes, and your adventurous spirit. 🥪 You’re welcome to bring a packed lunch to enjoy after the hike, or join us afterward at Awful Arthur’s Oyster Bar (Milepost 6, 2106 N Virginia Dare Trail, K*ll Devil Hills, NC 27948) for great seafood and conversation.

🌊 The fun doesn’t have to stop there! With the dunes at Jockey’s Ridge State Park and mini golf in K*ll Devil Hills just minutes away, you can make it a full day of adventure and relaxation on the Outer Banks.
