Join the First Flight Middle School Lacrosse Team as they host the 3rd Annual Gwen Game in honor of former player, Gwen Botson.
Gwen Botson was a bright light whose spirit touched everyone she met. Known for her infectious smile, generous heart, and unwavering determination, Gwen lived life with passion and purpose. She was the kind of person who made others feel seen, valued, and loved—a true friend who lifted up those around her.
On the lacrosse field, Gwen was a fierce competitor and dedicated teammate. She played with heart, grit, and an unshakeable love for the game. Lacrosse wasn't just a sport to Gwen—it was where she found joy, built lasting friendships, and learned the values of teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. Her commitment to excellence and her positive energy inspired everyone who had the privilege of playing alongside her.
Though Gwen's time with us was far too short, her legacy lives on through the Gwen E. Botson Foundation. Established in her honor, the Foundation is dedicated to supporting student athletes with scholarships for their next chapter in life. The Foundation embodies Gwen's generous spirit and her love of lacrosse.
This memorial tournament celebrates Gwen's life, her love of lacrosse, and the lasting impact she continues to have on our community. All donations collected will go directly to the Gwen E. Botson Foundation, helping to carry forward her legacy by supporting student athletes who share in the same spirit through the Dare Education Foundation.
