Family Fishing Day

�Special Park Access at Synergy Park – Family Fishing Day at Elder Lake �

KEDC is excited to offer the public a special park access opportunity. We will once again partner with Texas Parks & Wildlife for the annual Rainbow Trout stocking at Elder Lake, and will open Synergy Park to the public as follows:

�Saturday, December 20
�8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
�Elder Lake at Synergy Park

Access will be available through the front entrance of the park off the Hwy 259 Bypass.

Please note: Portions of the walking trail will remain closed to the public for safety reasons.

The community is invited to enjoy a day of family fishing while the trout are freshly stocked and hungry.

KEDC staff will be onsite throughout the day to support required safety protocols and assist with access. Bring a valid fishing license, grab your poles and bait, and come enjoy some time outdoors with family and friends. We hope this special access helps reconnect our community with the park while improvements are underway, and we thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation during this temporary closure period.
