Help us get Avalon ready for our annual Oktoberfest celebration! With the crisp September air arriving (ha!), it’s time for our next Volunteer Weekend.
Whether you’re a returning volunteer or joining us for the first time, your help is essential in maintaining and improving the grounds so Avalon can continue to delight visitors for years to come. Let’s come together to build, refresh, and prepare for future adventures—including a festive Oktoberfest!
Schedule:
Work begins at 9:30 AM and usually wraps around 3:00 PM. This is a come-and-go event—please remember to sign in and out at the Ticket Booth to log your hours.
Weekend Projects Include:
Constructing new tables and benches
Setting up and prepping spaces for Oktoberfest activities
General maintenance and organization across the grounds
Volunteer Perks:
Free lunch and refreshments provided each workday
Complimentary camping for overnight helpers
Earn a free admission ticket to any Avalon event for every 8 hours volunteered
