Workshop 3: Helping Your Child Develop Skills for Everyday Living

This session will enable you to consider which skills for daily living (e.g. dressing, toileting, washing etc.) you might focus on with your child. You will learn how to break down tasks into manageable steps, analyse where the child might be having problems and learn to teach them the skills involved. There will be lots of time for discussion and questions. It is hoped that you will leave with clear strategies for skill development that can be used going forward.
