First up is “John Devoy - The Exiled Fenian” happening Wedn 12th Nov 8pm in Railway Inn, Sallins
You’ll recognise him from the statues in both
K*ll & Naas, but how much do you know about the man now dubbed the most famous of Fenians? Noel Cocoman has spent many years researching K*ll native Devoy - a fascination triggered by sharing the same birthplace & subsequently acquiring Devoy’s Postbag.
Noel will show us how this Republican shaped the fight for Irish freedom via beguiling stories & photos so join us for this intriguing presentation & immerse yourself in the history of this once unsung hero 🫡
