A NIGHT TO REMEMBER: Kildare Town through Poetry, Songs and Stories
Featuring a range of local artists in aid of Kildare Town Community School

For a number of years Joe Connelly organised Country Concerts via Cill Dara Historical Society and Kildare Town Community School and after costs a donation was made to the school. They were always sold out a a great evening's entertainment. What was truly magical was watching how the school and particularly the students manged the event with respect and dignity towards what was generally an older audience. It was a wonderful community event.
In that spirit Cill Dara Historical Society, KTCS, the Parents' Association of KTCS and Kildare Town Heritage Centre are organising a Community event in aid of the school on 30 January 2026 in the school.
All proceeds will go to the school but it is also an opportunity to showcase the talent in Kildare, as we did in Kildare Town Library for Culture Night, and to bring people together in a positive way just before Brigid's Day. There is some talent in this town, let us embrace it. Let us celebrate Kildare, Brigid and the good work that so many do to make this a great place to live and raise a family.
So buy a ticket for the evet or just to support the school - buy one for a present for someone at Christmas.
Tickets will be on sale at the Christmas Craft Fair in KTCS on Thurs 4 December 5-8pm and in Kildare Town Heritage Centre from next week
