Event Description: Let's Walk - Kidlington to Thrupp Canalside Walk
10.30am - 1.30pm (approx end time)
Distance: 6.8km
Duration: 3 hours (with refreshment break)
From Exeter Hall to Annie’s Tea Room at Thrupp and back.
Start and finish point: Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, OX5 1AB. (what3words ///cooked.payer.display)
Pace: Leisurely
Parking: There is parking (at the playground) behind Exeter Hall, off Crown Road.
The walk, run by Canal & River Trust, will be led by volunteer walk leaders who are full of interesting information about the local area.
These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways.
A serene and peaceful waterway (with a fascinating history) running the whole length of Kidlington’s western boundary. Offering a tranquil and easy path on which to contemplate and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome.
