*BIR - Book I've Read. As in any book you've read. Ever. This is about getting to talk about books you've discovered and loved (or despised) with other folks who've read them too. Not about feeling guilty that you didn't finish the book in time.
**TBR - To Be Read. As in all the books you haven't read yet that other folks talk about during the Asynchronous Book Club and that now you want to read.
See, we don't have to assign books to discover new authors or a next book to read. We've created a community of readers eager to share their recommendations with you.
